is pretty much history, the reason the new 360s are all being made with HDMI built in is because they all have the new motherboards with the new seating, heatsink and compound for the cpu/gpu. This mobo has HDMI built in, it is cheaper for M$ to use just one mobo, as apposed to some with HDMI and some without. Notice on the xbox forums you see hardly any rrod complaints anymore, this issue is almost dead. I would say it is safe to buy any 360 at this point.

yes that is true, the 360 and PS3 are about the same when it comes to power, they just are, most technical types say 360 is more powerful but if you include all the negatives and positives of both and add them up, like say bluray vs no bluray, I think they come out the same.
